First Aid for Feathered Finds

Not every bird can be preserved, but here’s how to check:
If the bird smells very strong or starts losing feathers easily, especially around the face, it's likely already too far gone.

If the bird seems in good condition, pop it in a freezer bag and place it in the freezer as soon as possible.

Even if you don’t want it mounted yourself, feel free to bring it to me. I can register it properly, and who knows — I might be able to give it a second life in my own collection.
